Yes it is clear that Betty doesn’t have much left, and very fact that she is still alive, is a miracle and out of season. With a wing half destroyed, she probably was a survivor of a abird attack. Yes there is no hope and no reason. Yet for these few weeks she spent with us, we shared some sweet (literary) moments, and since routines developed therefore we lived together? What does actually define wether life is worth or not saving?

Adult people play too little. And snacks and linguistic exchange comes as a natural add-on 🙂 Sometimes breakfast, sometimes games, sometimes together at the same time.

Three years and many hours of talks and thoughts later, we are coming to the closure of this meaningful initiative, and thank all the people who made this effort possible!

Adult people play too little. That is why they tend to forget how it is, to pursue a virtual prise beyond tiredness and failure, while having fun. They only remember how to be tired and fail.
Bringing games back means reopening a source of genuine motivation to learn, compete and support each other, discover new capacities and invent solutions. Playing with ones intelligence makes it grow and is highly satisfying.

That is why we are so incredibly happy to be able to carry out through the pandemic, our initiative for international collaboration for game design. It has given great results in the past, and more is to come 🙂
So far, during three weeks in August we have been twisting and turning challenging topics turning them into a game environment. Focus was on young people in outsidership: unemployed, mental ill-health, identity issues etc. We tried different methods of breaking down the problematics and addressing the motivation and decision making, aiming to equip ourselves and other youth workers in our networks with competences of critical thinking and sense of initiative of young people. Several games prototypes were created during the course, but the most important, HOW you make one is something that we can’t wait but introduce at Project Pocket!

Projektet handlar om att etablera ett yrkesmässig relation mellan barn och vuxna med grund i deras teaterintresse, genom en serie av interaktiva teaterföreställningar.

Det finns flera skeden i projektet.

Första är att utbilda en grupp av barn i ålder 10-13 i grunder av filmteknik (ljud, ljus, storytelling, uppträdande, filmande, redigering, åldersanpassade regler om upphovsrätt, publicering och delning samt principer och hederligt uppförande, nätsäkerhet och näthat) på ett lätt och tilltalande sätt, skapa tillsammans serie av korta filmer med grund i deras teaterintresse, och publicera dessa videor på egen youtube kanal. Varje video ska presentera en viss konflikt eller dilemma som barn ser. 

Samtidigt, gör en grupp av vuxna skådespelare (behöver inte vara professionella) en kort video där de också filmar en kort teaterföreställning på 1-3 minuter, och publicerar på samma kanal.  

I kommenterer till varandra, lämnar barn och vuxna  under en vecka förslag på hur roller kunde ha spelats annorlunda.

En eller två veckor senare träffas barn och vuxna genom en videolänk och spelar upp för varandra, dem ”redigerade” versioner av egna stycken, med ändrade enligt kommentarer av sina kollegor från en annan generation. Spel filmas och publiceras sedan på samma kanal. 

Efter det utvecklas stycken vidare, eller avslutas och en ny påbörjas: motpartens spelar in ett stycke, publicerar, läser kommentarer, träffas med varandra via videolänk, spelar om med ändringar enligt förslag. 

I slutet av projektet, genomföra “Awards Ceremony” då filmsnuttar som samlade flest gillatryck, får utmärkelse. 

Publicering sker med godkännande av deras vårdnadshavare.

Tanken är att grupper möts två gånger i månaden, under tre månader, alltså 6 gånger totalt. Antal av teater stycken är inte bestämt och kan bli fler eller färre.

Uppstart 2021

Every year we sum up the season with a getaway, or a creative workshop, or both. Even a year like 2020-21 deserves a check out 🙂
Without daring to plan too far ahead, we do though plan to conduct another creative workshop at Ullas art studio, complemented with food, sunbathing and walks on the beach and in the forest.

Talangskolan: endast tjejer! Det är ett läger för alla kvinnor där vi fokuserar på grunder i röst, rörelse och berättelsetekniker som stärker ens självkänsla och uppmuntrar till att fortsätta följa sina drömmar och utveckla sina kreativa idéer. Rekommenderat ålder 15-35 men alla kvinnor är välkomna.

OBS: det finns alltid en chans att det kommer talas engelska då vi är oftast en internationell grupp.

Kostnad för lägret är 700 kr som betalas till Bg 645-8327 senast en vecka efter bekräftat anmälan; lunch och fika ingår.
